Stain and Sealant

Stain and sealant

Our stain and sealant applicators have undergone extensive training and have completed the Wood Defender certification course here in Texas. We exclusively use two leading Texas-based oil stain companies, as there’s a proven science behind why true oil-based stains and sealants are the best choice for protecting outdoor lumber.

Don't Use Water-Based Paint and Stain

These products only cover the surface of the wood. If the paint or stain is abraded, water can seep between the wood and the layer of paint, causing bubbles and leaving your wood unprotected. When it’s time to re-stain, you must completely strip the wood of the old paint or stain.

True Oil-Based Stain and Sealant

Oil penetrates the wood, soaking into the fibers and wrapping around the wood to protect every inch. When it’s time to apply a new coat after a few years, you simply spray a fresh coat onto the lumber—no need to strip the old stain.
